KJ got his "wish":
The Halal Industry Development Corp (HDC) will undertake a multitude of tasks to hasten Malaysia's establishment as a leading halal hub, including promoting and marketing Malaysia's own halal brand.Outlining the corporation’s seven main duties, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the new HDC would be placed under the National Implementation Task Force (NITF).
“As chairman of the NITF, the new HDC will ultimately be answerable to me. Such a structure allows for an integrated approach as well as for quick decision-making in the process,” Abdullah said ... [The Star]
Ok. So who's gonna head the HDC?

well what can you say, Pak Lah see no wrong in this kind of reporting. and KJ does want to get somewhere very fast, the man will do anything to fulfill his ambition, PM by 40.and to do that he needs money.
at least KJ, I hope you will not be a weak leader like your father in law.

I don't understand how some people can be so cynical and quick to criticise without even rationalising the logic of an endeavour like HDC. There is so much to gain if only Malaysia can seize the initiative to dominate the halal market. Please try to be self-moderating, as comments like MI5's have been hijacking and swamping excellent blogs like aisehman, jeffooi, bakrimusa and malaysia-today. I'm really sick of bigots, racists (from both sides of the fence), UMNOputra-bashing fanatics and morons who look at only one side of the coin.

First a certain section of our population's mindset must change. Remember the hue and cry they did re the 'sausage' issue sometimes ago, that create a havoc and great loss to the Halal Industries in the country.. The Media should be more responsible to what they communicate to the masses... That 'sausage' fiasco should never be repeated.. The psyche of these group of people should be tune to the reality of the world today... Stop talking and just get going with the projects, we are ways back in this venture.
