Natural Gas

Well done, Sarawak ... this is good shit:

A project is underway at a boarding school near here [Kuching] to turn faeces into gas.

The project, started three months ago at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Padawan with RM200,000 funding from the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry, is expected to save the school RM3,500 a month that would otherwise go to buying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Environmental Advisor to the Sarawak Government, Dr James Dawos, said the project involved redesigning the toilets and building a bio-digester to extract methane gas to the kitchen. [Bernama]

Alternatively, you could build a pipeline to the Dewan Rakyat.

I know, I know ... it's expensive, but with the amount of gas our MPs produce, I think the ROI for the project would be pretty good.

waaaait...must get cabinet approval first...

Yes, you need to bring the deal to the attention of the EPU, who will then decide which UMNOputra should then take a peep at your proposal, and copy it lock, stock and barrel. Then the deal gets approved at cabinet, who will give a concession that says that if the sponsor fails, the government will bail him out, and give him a profit for his efforts.

When the Dewan Rakyat produces too much gas, the government allows a variation order that calls for additional pipes to be built to Parliament House, and gives even more money to the sponsor.

The sponsor then buys a Lamborghini - but he doesn't know how to drive....

even the cabinet approved it.. the UMNO MP will object one... they need to reserve the gas for their own..

Noraini, with the amount of crap that they produce in parliament, we could light up the whole of Malaysia and probably have enough to sell to Indonesia and Thailand. Don't forget the underwater "gas" pipeline under the ocean to transfer the gas---mind u, it should be the "longest and also have the biggest diameter" in the worldddd. yeah malaysia... world...bolehhh!!

teehehe... aisehman don't hold your breath :)
Good innovation nevertheless.

hi aisehman,
what u say about our 'beloved' MPs in very true. But I suggest that the project need not build a pipeline because the amount of gas produced at the Dewan Rakyat is abundant enough to cater to all our needs in Malaysia.
Oh! - but our Govt. must be very careful as the idiot George Whacko Bush may classify the gas as a WMD & impose sanctions on Malaysia or Australia may launch a pre-emptive attack on Malaysia!
hence Malaysia may as well compose a Faeces Non- Proliferation Treaty, sign it, & send it to Bush.
cheers!

A project that takes 4.76 years for ROI, that is, if it's even gonna be working after 6 months :p

Posted by: auyongtc at March 29, 2006 06:25 PM

aisehman, please respect faeces. Those MP are radioactive toxic waste!

Posted by: moo_t at March 29, 2006 07:40 PM

The biggest pipeline in parliament should be reserved for BN Jerai, Nazri, Samy,Noh, Kinabatangan. They produce more gas than other MPs put together.;)

Posted by: rocky at March 29, 2006 08:57 PM

Jerai and Sungai Siput together produce enough gas to fuel Perwaja in Gurun, then it doesn't have to owe so much to TNB.

Posted by: hdin at March 30, 2006 12:32 AM

Don't get me started with Sungai Siput mate! haha u know the shit's gonna hit the fan when he's around. Samy's breath alone could be enough to supply the pipeline to light up parliament building!!! yahhh boleh malaysia boleh!!malaysia worlddddddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!
