A Fleet of Fabrications
More potential business for Kamalludin Abdullah's business interests:
Scomi Group Bhd will submit a bid by the end of March for a contract worth some RM120 million to make body parts for about 400 buses for state-owned Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd, sources said.Scomi is also pitching for another job from a big GLC (government-linked company) to manage its fleet of 6,000 vehicles. [Business Times]
To be fair, nothing's set in stone yet.
I mean, other bidders -- if there are any others -- stand an equal chance, and just because he's Pak Lah's son, doesn't mean his company's a shoo-in for the contracts ... right?
Right?
Hello ... right?
Why are you all so quiet?
You fuckers, like Jeff Ooi, are too damned sceptical, you know.
Didn't the Prime Minister tell you not to question?
Sit down and shut up.
AISEH! FINANCE The bus deal is worth LESSUP400 million. [What's a LESSUP?]

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
(I still shut up).
Don't think it'll be very funny no more, soon.
I like your humour, aisehman.
Really. Money cannot solve our nation's problems. In fact it's the cause as you have articulately pointed out.
BTW.
We have now witnessed 2 mindsets of governors.
One, as is now worries about how to keep what's in hand (I mean money-lah). If you are in business you will know, that money dwindles no matter how hard you try to keep it.
The other mindset is to see how to make more of what's in hand. Like previous guv. You take risks. You put up poker faces. You bang balls. But you do business.
So now, how? We sit down and count the money all over again. And then anak, cucu, pakcik, kawan, saudara, CM, MB, dll. All also want some. Lagi baik - now the rakyat also wants to know where the money is going to.
Aiseh...

So now we can deduct RM120million from RM4.4 billion.

why can't we question Pak lah??? your bloody moneykah? If it is,fine but it is not!! and now your son's company has already issued press statements on getting some of the RM4.4bil. Guess we can't question that too cos it is a family mattter!!
With this kind of leadership, we are going to be another Philippines!!! Vision 0000!!!

Though i am not questioning anyone's intentions but..... Improving public transport with the current state of affairs of our roads would nearly be impossible. In most areas and neighbourhoods there are only 2 or 3 ways out and in. Some areas only have one link to a highway which causes a huge bottleneck. I think city planning has to start addressing the problems of road structure and accessibility. Public transport can only work if the road infra-structure is there.
My 2 cents.
